Who we are

Midwest Dogo Argentino Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the long-term wellbeing of Dogo Argentinos. We provide support to owners dealing with a range of challenges, including health concerns, behavioral issues, allergies, and training. When circumstances change, we assist in responsibly rehoming Dogos to ensure they find stable, loving homes.

Starting in 2022, we have rescued many Dogos from euthanasia, and others who were abandoned, abused, or considered “unadoptable.” With patience, rehabilitation, and care, we've given these animals a second chance at life.

Our expertise-guided services tailor to each individual dog, as we guide them through rescue, training, and rehoming in a process that restores their agency and reaffirms their worth. Sustainability is central to our mission; by intentionally remaining small-scale, we ensure each Dogo receives the individualized attention and freedom they deserve.

We are based out of Isanti, Minnesota. Your support helps us continue this work. Donations are tax-deductible and can be made via Zelle to midwestdogorescue@gmail.com.
